About Us

So who are we, what are we all about and why on earth are we messing around in this wildlife paradise down in Gorongosa National Park, when we could be in suits and ties, behind a grey desk somewhere utterly dull and boring imagining a life of adventure and space and wild times...

Walking and exploring in Gorongosa Explore Gorongosa team on the Lion House

The Explore Gorongosa team...

The team. The family. The dudes (and dudette). The guys who make your Explore Gorongosa experience truly special, unique and all those crazy adjectives that mean really, really cool.  Who are we?  Click here for more about each of us as we answer the Question to the Team: what animal or bird would you be and why?

Greg Reis

Hailing from Cape Town, Greg has always known that the wilds of Africa are what makes him tick. Despite a track-record of close on twenty years of leadership in industry, he is now living his dream reintroducing endangered wildlife back into the wilds of Africa…

And who then is One Africa?

One Africa
is us; it is the inspiration behind all of this and all that is still to come.  Like the string to the bow, the peel to the orange, the trunk to the elephant - One Africa is the bit that makes it all fit together and be all it can be.

One Africa is a small idea that has big dreams.  We are hoping to produce a handful of models of unique experiences within the African safari industry (although calling it an industry is a bit like calling what James Bond does, a job).  For more on One Africa and the lifestyle of those lucky enough to have been caught up in the inspiration - please read on here...
